Ciderfest at Big White: Taste the Apples
British Columbia is home to a variety of breweries and cideries. Haven’t had a chance to taste them all yet? Here’s your chance! Ciderfest is this weekend, July 27, and is the perfect place to expand your beer and cider palate.
Take a trip to Big White Ski Resort between 11am and 4pm on Saturday July 27 and enjoy tasting cold, fresh beverages from across BC. Vendors could include local favourites: Merridale Cidery (Cobble Hill), Summerland Cidery (Summerland) and Truck 59 Ciderhouse (Kelowna).
Not so keen on cider? No worries, you can still enjoy Ciderfest! There’s usually a beer or two on offer, as well as an entertainment stage which features a number of live performances to keep the whole family happy. Not to mention other fun activities such as apple bobbing, a craft market and plenty of games for everyone.
If you’re planning on drinking, then it’s important to pick up your wristband and tokens from the Village Centre Mall. Pricing is as follows:
Tasting Tokens:
$1.50 each; 10 for $15; 20 for $30
This is an event not to be missed – and the views from the mountain can’t be beat either
– don’t forget to take a few snaps at the peak!
