This delicious smoothie will cool you down and satisfy you without giving you the heavy feeling you might get from a shake. Filled with the freshest of summer fruits this smoothie is ideal for breakfast or as a snack! Plus all the fruit makes for a very healthy treat!
On your family vacation head to your local farmers market and grab as many berries as you can! I love summer, when the stands are overflowing with colourful fruit and berries. There is something so great about heading home with armfuls of berries. I love to stock up at this time of year when the fruit is fresh and at it’s cheapest. Fruit and berries freeze wonderfully and work well in so many types of smoothie. So I buy up as much as I can reasonably cram in my freezer, in preparation for when winter comes rolling in, the prices go up, and supply goes down!
If you’re trying to use up some juicy, overripe berries, this smoothie is great. Take a look at the recipe below and make the most of these summer flavours!
