Upcoming Easter Events in the Okanagan
Easter long weekend is the perfect opportunity to spend more time with family and friends. There’s always tons of family activities happening in Kelowna and its surrounding areas, so there’s definitely something for everyone.
Here’s our suggestions for events to check out this Easter:
Easter Bunny Photo Op – Big White Resort
April 20 & 21 from 1-2pm.
Big White’s cheery Easter Bunny will be making his annual appearance, bringing lots of chocolate with him. You can find him at the Village Chair where you can get a cute family photo.
Egg Decorating – Big White Resort
April 20 & 21 from 2-3pm.
Come bring the whole family to decorate some bright colored Easter Eggs. This event is always a hit with the kids and takes place in the Happy Valley Day Lodge. As this Event is very popular, it is on a first come, first serve basis.
Easter Train Ride – Kettle Valley Steam Railway
April 20th from 10:30am-12pm, as well as 1:30-3pm.
Come ride the first train of the season on the Easter Train! There will be treats for the kids, music, and a surprise from the Easter Bunny who will hop on board! Adults are $28 and youth are $23. In between the Easter train rides will be a pancake breakfast put on by the Summerland Kiwanis Group. Breakfast is $8 per person; 8 and under is by donation!
Easter Sunday Breakfast – Big White Ski Resort
April 21st from 9-11am.
Bring the family to the Happy Valley Day Lodge, Moose Lounge, for a delicious breakfast. The Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance before he hits the slopes. Have the breakfast buffet for only $19.95 per person or the kids pancake bar for $7.95.
Big White Easter Egg Hunt– The Kids Center
April 21st from 9:15 & 12:30.
Join the fun in the heart of the Big White village with a huge Easter Egg hunt. Participate in the one at 9:15 or 12:30 but be sure to arrive 5 minutes early because the eggs get found fast! The Easter Bunny, with the help of the Ski School, spread 100’s of Chocolate Eggs around the Village. Be sure to bring your baskets or bags!
Easter Sunday EGGSALENT Event– Woodlake RV Park and Marina
April 21st from 11:30am-4:30pm.
Come have some Easter Sunday Fun at the Woodlake RV Park and Marina. See Peter Cottontail hoping down the bunny trail right here in Lake Country. Join in for an Easter Egg hunt at 11:30, cake at 1pm and an Easter movie in the Clubhouse at 2pm.
